At Nidecker, we proudly set them a new standard for all-mountain snowboard boots with the Nidecker Kita. Inspired by the technical demands of polar and mountain expeditions, this boot is packed with innovative features and offers reliable performance from the first elevator to the last descent. Comfort is central to the Kita's design, starting with an asymmetrical shape that perfectly matches our bindings for a natural connection with your snowboard. Wherever possible, we have welded components to the top instead of sewn, resulting in a unique seamless construction that is much more water resistant. In addition, we added a tough TPU-protection called ArmourTech to the front of the boot, which protects your toes when maneuvering between rocks.
Dual Dial BOA® Fit System
The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System incorporates a specially developed External Heel Lock, controlled via the tongue dial, to keep your foot firmly in place. The lower part of the boot can be tightened with the side dial. The midsole houses two EVA-components for enhanced cushioning, and the B.F.T Vibram Approach outsole benefits from an Icetrek rubber compound for unprecedented grip. Our new Transition Zone-technology seamlessly connects this sole to the Exo SPine, speeding up response and preventing damage to the back of the boot when entering and exiting bindings.
With the premium Gold Wrap Liner, comfort and support is guaranteed from the moment you put the boot on - and of course, it's fully heat-moldable for a custom fit. An advanced anatomical shape in comfortable EVA-material with a high-quality EVA-support for the deep heel and arch of the foot, and special EVA with high bounce-back capability that cushions the heel. A silicone top layer provides grip on the fleece-lined footbed.
