Directional Volume Twin

A true sintered base is harder and more expensive than extruded, and it can be faster for those who ride aggressively hard. But to do that, it must be properly waxed and prepared.
This makes for a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, makes it lighter by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia and then adds two full-length bamboo stringers for extra pop and response.
In triax fiberglass, the fiberglass layers are arranged in three different directions: longitudinal, transverse and diagonal. This directional arrangement of the fiberglass layers provides a balanced combination of torsional stiffness, longitudinal flexibility and responsiveness in the snowboard.
The MidBite pulls the circumference of the snowboard 1,5 mm inward, just inside the insert-pack. This move is maintained (rather than going back out as with the Basic) until about 1/3 of the length of the sidecut, just inside the next insert pack. This single, long disruption of the sidecut between bindings narrows the waist width, providing a faster edge-to-edge response. At the same time, from your binding to the end of the sidecut, we maintain a board width that provides a stable platform for jumps, spins and landings.
