Technical specifications
Founded in 1977 by Mike Olson and Pete Saari, Mervin Manufacturing is the leading manufacturer of Lib Tech snowboards. With a focus on environmental friendliness and local manufacturing, the company is based in Sequim, Washington, and remains the last major board factory in the U.S.
Made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. This ultra-high molecular weight base is easy to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE.
Full-wood core with three densities and hardwood bamboo rods for extra pop and durability, plus paulownia for weight savings.
Stitched multi-axis fiberglass laminate for a precise and responsive ride on any terrain and snow condition.
New composite wood veneer tops. Wood veneer tops cushion the ride and absorb vibrations from the board.
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern with more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rocker tip drives the nose of the board and improves maneuverability, while the camber underfoot provides edge grip and response. A slightly rockered tail provides the power and stability of a traditional board, but helps keep the tail catch-free when making turns and landing switch.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially when freeriding and on powder.
