The innovative design, with a blend of 38% nylon and 62% ePTFE, provides waterproof and breathable protection, making them the ideal choice for all weather conditions on the slope.
For optimal warmth, the Dakine Excursion Gloves feature PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, composed of 55% recycled polyester and 45% polyester. This insulation, available in 170g for the mittens and 230g for the mittens, guarantees that your fingers will stay comfortably warm even in the iciest of environments. Combined with a 360g wool blend lining (64% wool, 20% polyester, 16% nylon), these gloves offer a cozy refuge for your hands amidst the winter chill.
The palm of the Dakine Excursion Gloves is made of durable water-repellent 100% goat leather, ensuring long-lasting use and superior performance. The shell combines a 4-way stretch softshell and leather (41% goatskin, 41% nylon, 10% polyester, 8% elastane) treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, enhancing the overall durability and weather resistance of these gloves.
With a cuff closure that is easy to put on and adjustable with Velcro, the Dakine Excursion Gloves offer a secure and customizable fit. Easy to put on and take off, they offer convenience without compromising functionality.
To extend the life of your Dakine leather gloves, hand wash them with mild soap and warm water. Gently squeeze out excess water before hanging them up to dry; avoid using a stove or dryer. For optimal waterproof maintenance, Dakine recommends treating your gloves with Nikwax. Keep in mind that Nikwax can change the color of the leather, so it is advisable to test it on a small area first before applying it to the entire glove. Apply Nikwax by spreading it over all leather areas, repeat the process every 30 days and after washing for continued protection from the elements.
